though, even though we face the difficulties of today and tomorrow, I still have a dream. It is a dream deeply rooted in the American dream. • even though は though の強調形。
• we は「私たち」、face は「直面する」、difficulties は「困難」を意味する。
• of は「～の」。
• today は「今日」、 tomorrow は「明日」を意味する。
• and は接続詞で、「と」と訳されることが多い。

• I は「私」。
• still は「まだ」。
• dream は「夢」。
• have a dream で「夢がある」となる。

• It is a dream は「それは夢だ」。どんな夢なのかはその後にある。
• deeply は「深く」、rooted は「根ざした」の意味。
• in は「～の中に」。
• the American dream は「アメリカンドリーム」。

• hold は「持つ」という意味で使われることが多いが、この場合は「考える」。
• these は「これらの」で、this の複数形。
• truths は「真実」や「真理」という意味の truth に s がついた複数形。
• to は不定詞の形容詞的用法。self-evident は「自明の」という意味の形容詞。
• truths to be self-evident は「自明であるための真実」つまりは「自明の真実」となる。
• that は「同格の that 」で「という」と訳されることが多い。that の前方には truths があって、どんな truths なのかが that 以下に書かれてある。
• all は「全ての」。
• men は man の複数形で「人々」。
• create は「創造する」。are created は受身形で「創造される」となる。
• equal は「平等な」。
